User Onboarding

Here is the standard procedure that a user will go through when onboarding and how to make the most of their sites and social posts.

When you sign up for an account with Yip Yip, you will receive this welcome email to your inbox. You'll want to click Accept Invitation.


This will take you to the Yip Yip sign up screen. Create a password and sign up!


You'll want to connect your social media accounts next. Please note that you will not receive social posts until this is done.


When connecting Facebook, you'll want to follow these steps exactly. Choose connect, and continue as yourself and select Ok.

Do not Choose what you allow. Yip Yip only requests the minimum permissions needed in order to post to your account. If you choose what you allow you will not receive social posts.

After pressing ok, a page will pop up that allows you to select which page we are allowed to publish to.

Now you'll want to complete your profile. It is important to fill this out as completely as possible as it is the information that will show up on your public website. Be sure to select a timezone, or your posts will be sent out at our default.


If you are a Social Only user, congrats! You are finished onboarding!

If you have one of our Sites, you will continue on to the site customizer. Do not change the first page. This is where your admin will upload your eBook information.

This customizer will differ based on your organization's chosen template.


On the final page of the customizer you will need to enter the URLs for your social media accounts. Simply go to your profile and copy and paste the web address.


Congrats! You are finished onboarding.
